I can't remember anything about this. I think it was a gift. The batteries stored in it for years corroded and caused a lot of damage. I fixed it (just because). It has no value but looks pretty cool.

In 2025 a used 1GB microDrive sells for betweed $25 - $100 on Ebay.

I think I got them for the 3 granddaughters also but can't remember. They would have been 2 or 3 years old at the time so their moms would have kept them.

I was in San Francisco for software training normally held in Boston.

The 44th wedding anniversary celebrated in absentia with "19 Crimes Snoop Dogg Cali Gold Sparkling Wine". The first anniversary without Sharon. I had a couple of sips of champagne with friends in the kitchen. I think Sharon would have appreciated the gesture.
